Why We Love Quilt in Serena and Lily

Our master bedroom has been an afterthought since we moved in to our house six months ago. The room is oversized and currently a holding place for all the decor we don’t have a spot for yet. Before we host a couple parties this month and have family here for Christmas, I’ve made it a priority to finish the room!

I’m wanting on a few pieces before I post the full room reveal. But in the meantime I had to share the bedding we chose. Everything is 25% off through Cyber Monday so I don’t want you to miss this incredible sale!

In the past I’d buy items I liked well enough because they were cheaper than what I really wanted. Well in some cases, it worked out, but a lot of the time they didn’t last and I ended up spending more on replacement items. So when we moved into this house I told myself I’d be patient and slowly decorate with quality pieces that will last.

I’ve always loved Serena & Lily and have heard amazing things about their bedding. When they launched the sale, I knew I couldn’t pass it up!

We have a hard time with white bedding in our house so we opted for a little pattern mixing. I love the combination of the Oxford Stripe Duvet and the Cambria Quilt both in french blue and white. The weather fluctuates constantly in Houston so I like the idea of having layers to add or take away.
