I love Halloween for obvious reasons. Hello candy and fun costumes!! But I don’t particularly love the color palette. I very rarely use orange, or black for that matter, when I’m decorating. I decided to put my own spin on the traditional kid’s Halloween party overflowing with sweets and pink! I found the cutest ghost plates and napkins that served as my inspiration for the rest of the setup.

I always have the best luck with Walmart selection of Halloween candy so I ran in there to scope it out. Once I saw the new SweeTARTS® Ropes were pink, I knew they would be the perfect addition to my pink and black Halloween Table! These soft and chewy ropes are delightfully sweet and delicately tart, creating  bendable fun with a taste that makes candy lovers go crazy!

Two Ingredient Pink Spider Cakes

-One package of SweeTARTS® Ropes from Walmart

-Pink Marshmallow Cakes

I cut the SweeTARTS Ropes into thirds for the legs. Then I stuck cut side of the rope into the side of the cake about 1/4 of an inch so it stays put when someone picks it up. To keep things simple, I decided to only add six legs but feel free to add eight like a traditional spider! You could also add little chocolate chips as eyes but I think they are adorable as is. This would also be an easy craft for kids to do at a party.

I placed a white tabletop on a couple of low boxes so the table would be low enough for kiddos to reach. Then I added a balloon garland in the color palette to coordinate with the SweeTART Ropes behind the table. I added in spider webs to give it a spooky feel! I picked up little cauldrons at a craft store and add pink cotton candy to resemble smoke. I love how it all turned out!
