Throw An Outdoor Movie Night

Cake & Confetti

The heat is pretty brutal right now but we added a couple fans in our screened porch and in the evenings it’s really nice.

We have a supper club with our group of friends and alternate hosting at each other’s houses.

Many of our friends have young babies and toddlers, so it’s much easier to stay home and let the kids run around and play while the parents enjoy cocktails and adult conversation.

It’s our turn in a couple weeks and I wanted to come up with a fun idea for everyone. I’ve been dying to have an outdoor movie night on the porch since our renovation and this seems like the perfect time!

I put up a white sheet on one side and set out some chairs, pillows and blankets for everyone to get comfortable.

I kept the food simple with boxes of popcorn, mini burgers, ice cream sandwiches and sheet pan nachos.

Watermelon and mint are always my favorite summer time combination! But my favorite part about this cocktail is that you don’t have to use a blender.
