Both Trent and I come from a long line of football fans, so there’s always either a college football bowl game or professional playoff game on TV this time of year! I’m down to watch football if my favorite teams are playing but other than that, I’m just in it for the snacks. Anyone else?!
The perfect snack for this football season are crunchy, hearty Cape Cod Waves™. It’s the best chip to pair with your favorite dips!
I love anything I can throw together hours before and set out when it’s game time, and this corn dip recipe has been a favorite for tailgating and game-watching parties for as long as I can remember. I can’t tell you how many times our friends have asked for the recipe. It’s addicting, I promise!
Mix together all ingredients. You want to make and refrigerate for at least 12 hours before serving to allow all the flavors to mix.
I love to pair this corn dip recipe with Cape Cod Waves™ Sea Salt Chips! They have a crunchy, hearty texture that’s perfect for dipping. Plus the ingredients are simple with no artificial ingredients or preservatives!
Salty snacks and cold beer go hand in hand when it comes to football season, so I put together a flight of various local beers I thought would pair well with the crunchy chips and savory corn dip.
I always love anything interactive, and trying a flight of new beers and comparing notes with friends during the commercial breaks is the perfect way to enjoy game day!
If you’re looking for a quick and easy recipe that is delicious, look no further. This corn dip is full of flavor and sure to be a hit at your next party or gathering. However, this recipe calls for ingredients such as jalapenos and mayonnaise which cannot safely sit out at room temperature for long periods of time. Depending on the temperature outside, the required refrigeration time can be reduced to an hour or two. Keep this dip in mind for your next summer cookout or party.
Corn dip is best when used within four days of storing it in the refrigerator. It can safely last in room temperature condition for an hour or two depending on room temperature and if it is unopened, but the quality will begin to diminish after that point.
This dip is so addictive, I can’t tell you how many times our friends have asked me for the recipe. It goes great with tortilla chips or corn chips and if your tailgating party has a grill nearby it would be perfect to cook some of these on! Who are you rooting for this weekend?
