Helping you celebrate every day colorfully. My mission? To make party-throwing a piece of cake!

I’m definitely the type of girl that believes in wearing sequins and bold lipstick year round – my husband thinks it’s a little over the top but it makes me happy so I roll with it. I don’t think I’ve ever seen my Grandma Junie without bright pink lipstick or sparkly baubles from head to toe so it’s safe to say I’ve inherited from her.
But I know a lot of girls reserve the sparkles and bright lipstick for holiday festivities which is totally fine too! If you want to experiment with it this month, I’ve put together four different looks to inspire you to shine bright this season. My incredibly talented blogger and photographer friend, Ailee created this really fun video to capture the whole process of changing multiple times which in this case meant switching bright lipsticks! I love to use Neutrogena Grapefruit Wipes to remove even the long wear lip stains in a couple swipes.
We shot the video in the master bathroom of a beautiful house by On Point Custom Homes! If you follow along on insta stories, you might have seen the master bathroom and closet tour I did early last week. Can we talk about serious closet envy over here! This project was very out of the norm for me but SUPER fun to pull together. I hope you enjoy!
1. PINK & GOLD
My go-to choice for obvious reasons. I love how the ivory scarf balances out the bold sweater and skirt combination. For this look I paired with my all-time favorite pink lipstick, NYX Matte in Sweet Pink. It’s the perfect shade of pink and it’s too bright, I wear it almost everyday!
2. SEQUINS & STRIPES
My obsession with the tulle cuffs on this top are an understatement. It transforms a normal striped shirt into the perfect holiday top! I paired it with sequin jogging pants and only tucked in the front for a more flattering look. This outfit is super comfortable, hello stretchy waistband! 😉 I went with a bright red orange lip stain for a fun take on traditional holiday red lips.
3. MIXMATCHED PATTERN PLAY
I’m all about mixing patterns especially when there is a common color between the two patterns. This sequin polka dot top is one of my favorites and I love how it coordinates with the wool buffalo plaid skirt. This outfit is a fun take on the traditional holiday favorites, paired with my favorite red liquid lipstick from Stilla!
4. WINTER WHITE
One of my favorite trends this holiday season, besides all the blush pink winter ware! This shimmery skirt is from the Who What Wear collection and Target and it’s so fun. But my favorite part of the outfit is definitely the blue suede shoes! The glittery heels are SERIOUSLY perfect! I paired this with a violet liquid lipstick to add in another jewel tone to the whole look.
