Helping you celebrate every day colorfully. My mission? To make party-throwing a piece of cake!

I don’t know of a girl who doesn’t love to drink mimosas while getting their hair and makeup done. So when Christie organized a group of Houston bloggers and creatives for a fun morning at the adorable Brush & Blush Bar, I was all over it! Not only was the space super adorable but the company was equally as great. We all keep up with each others lives through instagram, but it’s so great to spend some quality time with friends new and old!
After the ladies at Brush & Blush styled our hair they taught two makeup lessions – how to acheive a simple smokey eye and conturing. I mean, how gorgeous do Ailee and Kim look?! FLAWLESS. Of course I couldn’t resist adding in a little DIY project to the occasion, (shocking, right?) I made the bright hashtag drink flags using my Cricut Explore. Not only did they garnish the mimosas, they turned into photo props once it was all said and done. My unbelievably talented friend, Michelle Able Caldwell was there to capture all the fun.
Mother’s Day is only a couple weeks away and Brush & Blush is a perfect place to celebrate with a little mom + daughter beauty day. If you’re in Houston, you must check it out!
