Helping you celebrate every day colorfully. My mission? To make party-throwing a piece of cake!

A few weeks ago, I asked y’all what type of content you wanted to see more of and so many gave feedback to give more tips on easy, store bought items styled to seem homemade. One of my go-to places to quickly grab pre-made food items is Trader Joes. Between the cheese section that I could spend an hour in, all the amazing frozen goodies and the pre-made food- it’s a one stop shop to throw together an amazing party.
For our spread we grabbed:
Appetizers: Salmon pinwheels, frozen kale bites paired with mascarpone and butternut squash ravioli tossed in butter then baked in the oven until crispy.
Main Dish: Butternut squash soup topped with goat cheese and a crumbled cranberry nut bar, frozen turkey with stuffing topped with herbs, arugula salad kit with beets, goat cheese and candied oranges.
Sides: Pre-made gravy and cranberry sauce
Dessert: Pumpkin pie topped with whipped cream and crumbled cranberry nut bar
Pre-made and just put on a cute platter
Trader Joes has so many pre-made appetizers that require no work besides taking them out of the package and placing on a platter. From salmon pin-wheels, every type of cheese you can imagine to different crackers, everything.
Gather the ingredients and throw in microwave
“Baked” holiday brie
There are tons of recipes for a holiday baked brie, but they take time and a mess in the kitchen. Below is super quick and easy!
1 round of brie
2 pinches of brown sugar
Crumble 1 fruit and nut spiced bar
Put the brown sugar and crumble on top of the brie and put in the microwave for 30 seconds and you are done!
All about the toppings
Gather a bag of salad or a container of pre-made pumpkin soup and add goat cheese, nuts and herbs on top and it looks like you spent lots of time putting it together.
Frozen section to the rescue
Just like the pre-made section, there are so many options waiting for you and to just heat and serve.
Final touches
Decorations don’t just have to just pumpkins and fall autumn tones, add in some pops of color. Check out my post for last minute thanksgiving decorations with color.
Last thanksgiving I shared an easy recipe for baked brie bites and cranberry sauce. Check it out for more inspiration!
