I cannot believe Piper June is 6 months old! Where has time gone? I swear just yesterday she was a tiny little Christmas baby and now she is babbling, smiling and sitting up! I can’t say the past six months have been easy, but they have definitely been worth it. I honestly could not have made with through the past six months without Trent, our family, friends and these 20 amazing products.
Piper loved her dock a tot for the first couple of months. It made her feel cozy from day one. I think she felt safe and warm curled up on the side. I dressed mine up with a cover to make it more girly.
Another favorite of ours was the Rock n Play. I could put Piper in here, turn on the automatic rocker and she would be happy for a while. It was great while I was showering or cooking dinner. She was always close by but I had my hands free!
The Owlet Smart Sock is one of the products that has made me feel most confident leaving Piper alone in her room to sleep. I slip it on her foot and can get all of her readings (heart rate and oxygen level) through an app on my phone. It is also great when we have a babysitter. I know she is safely sound asleep and I don’t have to worry! To read more about it, click here.
The Ubbi Diaper Pail is super cute and functional. I throw all of her diapers in there after changing her and no odor leaks out!
Our sweet girl likes her bottles warm and this warmer was a lifesaver for those 2 am bottles. I still use it daily. It warms the bottle to the perfect temperature and she gulps it down.
I love our Dr. Brown’s Formula Pitcher. I wake up in the morning and mix the formula for the day. Then, every time Piper needs a bottle, I just pour it in. There are no bubbles which helps her sensitive stomach.
I love these Comotomo Bottles for Piper. I stopped breastfeeding around 2 months and it was a very smooth transition to the bottle because of these. I also like these little handles you can add to help encourage the baby to hold their own bottle. It’s the little things that make a huge difference!
Piper has sensitive skin and was getting a diaper rash frequently. Since switching to these diapers, she hasn’t had a diaper rash at all!
These booster pads have been great. I put one in Piper’s diaper before bed and it keeps her from leaking and waking herself up. Her pajamas and crib sheet stay dry all night long.
I give this Baby Merlin’s Magic Sleep Suit partial credit for Piper starting to sleep through the night. She felt so cozy and safe in it and also looked adorable in it (and a little like the Michelin Man).
One of my favorite big purchases was our glider. It is so comfy and has a USB port so I can charge my phone while hanging with my best girl. I try my best not to be on my phone all of the time with Piper but lately I have been loving reading books on my phone so it’s great that I can charge it while reading. More details about the glider are in this post.
Piper absolutely loves this piano. Since she started kicking and moving, I would place her on this and it would keep her happy for a while. I’ll admit I even took the piano part off and bungee corded it in the car so she was happy driving around town too!
I love our wipes holder because it is weighted so it allows you to only pull out one wipe at a time. When you are already wishing you had a few more hands while changing a squirming baby, this makes it a little easier.
These make it so easy to feed Piper when we are out and about. I throw a few of these in the diaper bag for so I know I always have a bottle ready if she needs one. No mixing the powder formula and water, everything is ready for you!
This bath tub is amazing! It is great for so many reasons. It has holes that drain out the water, it’s silicon so they don’t slip around in it, it’s cheap and it’s pink!
This Itzy Ritzy Milk Boss is amazing! It makes feedings so much more comfortable for both of us.
Piper absolutely loves her Wubbanubs. She has like 6 in her crib at all times and wraps her tiny little fingers around the animal like a security blanket. 🙂 They come in all different animals and colors.
This shusher is another must have. I’m not all about giving gifts that aren’t on someone’s registry but this is defintely one that every baby (and mama) will love!
The nose frida… as gross as it seems, it works wonders. Whenever Piper is a little stuffy, I squirt some saline in her nose and suck it out. Clears her right up!! Don’t worry, there is a filter so there is no chance of getting it on your mouth.
Poor Piper has been gassy since day one. This helps solve all of those problems! 🙂
