Helping you celebrate every day colorfully. My mission? To make party-throwing a piece of cake!

It’s hard to believe two weeks from today we’ll be celebrating Piper June turning one! It seems like just yesterday we brought her home from the hospital. When I was pregnant I promised myself I’d do my best to document her on a weekly basis and make a photo book. To be honest, the photo book process always overwhelmed me so I never did it. Organizing photos on my phone and computer seemed like such a daunting task so until now, we haven’t printed any photos of Piper. Sad, I know! But in an effort to savor this time in our lives, I used Mixbook to make a Baby Photo Book and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
Looking back, I don’t know why I was so overwhelmed by the process. The Mixbook editor makes it super easy to drag and drop photos and it will even organize them by date taken, date added or file name. For someone like me, this made creating the book a breeze! Instead of having to add the photos to the pages one by one, the editor allows you to automatically add in chronological order. Plus I was able to add a mix of photos shot on my phone and camera and to be honest, I can’t tell a difference because the print quality is so good.
It only took an hour or so to create the book and it’s something I’ll cherish forever. It was so much fun looking through the finished book with Piper and telling her all about the day she was born. Cue the sentiment tears! Mixbook turned me into a believer in the importance of photo books and plan to make one every year going forward. They have a huge selection of different designs and layouts available for kids photo books, books for big occasions like weddings or travel books! Be sure to check it out and use code: CONFETTIHOLIDAY to get 40% Off Photo Books for New Customers Only. Offer Expires 12/10/18 so don’t wait!
