Can you believe it is November? Thanksgiving is right around the corner which means this baby is too far away! I kicked off October with supporting Susan B. Komen Houston, joined my husband on his business trip in SoCal, started a Kindness Campaign on my blog, revealed our sweet baby girls name and was showered with love by the best friends a girl could have! I’ve included an Instagram round up of these posts!

Supporting the Susan B. Komen Houston organization has always been easy for me, and having another reason to have everything pink makes it even better. 

Trent and I got to “babymoon” in SoCal, and it was amazing! We spent a lot of time at the beach and indulging in some of the yummiest sweets. I would go back in a heart beat! While we were there, Alissa Noelle Photography took maternity photos and they turned out great! Under 8 weeks and counting until baby girl arrives! 

In a world with so much sadness, hate and fear, I decided to start a Kindness Campaign. I am interviewing people who use their business or platform to spread kindness. This month has been full of so many fun people and I can’t wait to hear from others! You can read all the features (including the amazing Emily Ley!) so far here, here, here and here!

The name announcement was inspired by Gray Malin and all of his amazing balloon photos on the beach. You can read the blog post of why we chose her name, Piper June here ! We are in the process of decorating the nursery, getting everything organized for her and I have a feeling one of the Piper balloon photos will make another appearance in there!

A couple weeks ago, my sweet, sweet best friends threw me the most amazing baby shower honoring Piper! It was a fiesta complete with Otomi backdrop, cake, and hand painted macarons. To say this little girl is already loved is an understatement!
