Helping you celebrate every day colorfully. My mission? To make party-throwing a piece of cake!

Cake & Confetti officially turned one last month and in true C&C fashion – we threw a party to celebrate the occasion!I invited some of my closest girlfriends to come to my home office on a Saturday afternoon. We sipped champagne, ate WAY too much cake and had a dance party in the middle of the day. It was entirely too much fun not to document!
Before the girls arrived, I took a minute to look through all the pictures of events and styled shoots from the past year. While starting Cake & Confetti has been in motion for a couple years now, it took me a little bit to determine the direction I wanted to go and develop my craft. Looking through past events made me realize how much I’m constantly learning and growing. It makes me proud of the last year (even though it’s been crazy) but also make me excited to see where C&C will be next year or the year after that.
Okay, now on to the fun stuff.
The lovely, Lauren Small of Color Me Tulip helped turn my vision of gold pineapples and pink flamingos into a reality. After stumbling upon the phrase, “Be a flamingo in a flock of pigeons” I thought it perfectly described Cake & Confetti and the custom events we try to create for our clients. Lauren took the idea and ran with it. She created a poster size print of the phrase and coordinated the rest of the print details to match. I loved the flamingo pattern on the back of the invitation – so cute! The number “one” cake topper, gold painted pineapples and flamingo straws were simple DIY projects that added a lot of personality to the party.
To say this party was girly is an understatement and I loved every minute of it. Thank you to everyone who continues to believe in us. Cheers to many more!
