We spent the past weekend outside at the Houston Open! I loved getting to show Piper one of my favorite family traditions. I still have a little pregnancy weight to lose but lately I have the shopping bug. There are so many things I love in stores right now so I’m choosing styles that will work now and later, if and when the weight comes off!  J Crew is having an amazing sale so I made sure to take full advantage and grab a few items, as well as shopping at some of my go to stores. Below you can see what I bought and wore this weekend! 

GINGHAM FRONT TIE DRESS

How cute is this gingham dress? Whenever I see gingham, it’s usually a done deal for me. I love the ruffle bottom on this dress and the bow around the waist. It’s a perfect length and goes great with the Hermes dupe sandals I posted about last week. 

SWIMSUIT SEASON IS UPON US!

It’s that time again! Swim suit season is upon us. Now that I’m a mom, I know I needed a good suit that wouldn’t slip and show anything I didn’t want showing while holding Piper! This swim suit is perfect. It’s a tankini so it is pretty comfortable (and allows for quick, easy bathroom trips!) and flattering. It came in the mail yesterday and I absolutely love the peplum waist for my #mombod. Plus all the swim is currently up to 40% off!

 

EARRINGS, EARRINGS, EARRINGS! 

I absolutely love adding earrings to any outfit to dress it up. I can be in a white t-shirt and jeans, throw on a pair of earrings and feel so much more put together! I loved these colorful ones! Grab them while they’re on sale! 

MATCHING SETS

If you would have asked me 5 years ago if I would be buying matching sets, I would have said no way but lately I’m loving them! This top and bottom set is such an easy throw on outfit. Light weight and cool for the Houston temps and really flattering! 

IT’S HIP TO BE ROUND

I absolutely love the circle bag trend for spring and summer. I was about to pull the trigger on a straw bag until this rattan one popped up on Instagram! I love the structure, side stripes and feel like it will last much longer than similar straw ones. All it needs is a colorful scarf tied around the handle!
