Helping you celebrate every day colorfully. My mission? To make party-throwing a piece of cake!

I’m so excited to have my friend Jordan, the founder of Packed Party next up in Cultivating Kindness series! I’ve been a huge fan of the brand she’s built for years now and when I was in San Francisco for work last July, I reached out via Instagram to see if she would grab coffee with me. As crazy as Instagram can be at times, I’m so grateful it creates connections like this (moral of the story: never be afraid to reach out!). Since then we’ve become friends and I love watching her company grow. She’s not one to toot her own horn but Packed Party is doing BIG things and the products they’re creating are truly one of a kind. I could keep going but for the sake of time grab your Disco Drink filled with coffee and let’s get to it!
Although it might seem small, I absolutely love complimenting people on little things when they’re least expecting it! Waiting in line at the grocery store or just walking around town. I try to compliment a stranger a day every single day and am really meaningful with my words and interaction. I look someone in the eye and tell them I love whatever it is about them from their shoes to their smile. Seems weird, but it always seems to make someone walk an inch taller and me feel this weird release like phew, I told them what I was thinking! I suppose that’s a random act of kindness right? Challenge yourself to do it and see how happy it makes someone! I promise you’ll make it a goal to do it every day.
I go on a lot of walks. Big and small. Being outside and without my phone always helps me clear my head quickly.
Real Housewives Of New Jersey. Yep. I don’t watch any of the Real Housewives shows except New Jersey, ha. I am addicted…and definitely bought an iPad when they first came out so I could watch it while I traveled. Now that is an embarassing guilty pleasure!
My grandpa drove an hour + out of his way to come pick me up from the airport just to have lunch with me recently. He got all dressed up for the occasion, parked, and was waiting patiently for me right when I came through the bridge at baggage claim. It’s been a long time since someone parked and came in to get me at the airport, ha! I know he’s my grandpa and he’d do anything for me, but he certainly didn’t need to drive out of his way to come get me and treat me to lunch just so he could catch up with me for 45 min. It meant the world to me and he didn’t think anything of it! I loved it. It made me want to pick every single person I know up at the airport and park/go inside…heck, maybe even make a poster too.
Packed Party aims spread kindness and joy to people through all the products we design, manufacture, and sell. We define a “Party Girl” as someone who is confident enough to start the party in her own life everyday and kind enough to share the party with someone else who might be needing some love! Packed Party is all about kindness and bringing the f-u-n wherever we go. If you don’t believe me go take a peek at our Instagram! I always say I have the best job in the world because I get to make people’s days for a living with our gifts and products. No one can look at something like our Disco Drink or confetti pouch and not smile!
My parents are a huge source of inspiration for me. They’re experts in kindness, selflessness, and treating others how they themselves would want to be treated. So many people meet my parents and joke they’re only friends with me to hang out with them and I don’t blame them. They’re absolutely incredible people I am blessed to be able to go to for advice or inspiration.
#whenonedoorclosesanotheroneopens or #goodcomestogood we use that phrase a ton in our office
