Helping you celebrate every day colorfully. My mission? To make party-throwing a piece of cake!

I think we can all agree Instagram is a crazy place especially these days! But regardless of my frustrations with the algorithm, I’m so grateful for its ability to connect me with other creatives from all over the world. One of my favorite people I’ve connected with is Jonathan behind Jonathan Caleb Cake!
If you follow me on Instagram you’ve probably seen me share photos of his swoon worthy desserts (be sure to follow him if you don’t already!) but I dare you to try and scroll through his feed without a smile on your face – it’s impossible! In my opinion, Jonathan is a great example of using his talents to spread happiness one adorable macaron at a time! Keep reading to see how Jonathan infuses kindness into his life and business!
I always make it a point to give a stranger a compliment even if its just a kind word to someone in the drive thru picking up coffee, its amazing how just telling someone you like their hair or their nail color will put a smile on their face.
If I am stressed I will find time to go to the gym and get in an extra workout. If I need time to think I enjoy going on a long distance run. Running with my earbuds in and favorite songs playing always seems to spark new ideas and I feel like I just get lost in my own thoughts and finish the run with wanting to create new things. If I just need a pick me up online shopping is probably my go to. I go thru phases… It was shoes but I have been on a jean kick lately.
Cotton candy and do nothing play days with my bestie.
I recently had my biggest weekend to date since starting my business with a large wedding and a booth at The Indie Craft Parade which is an annual makers fair that draws over 7,000 shoppers. Despite the weeks of prep work and being ahead of schedule I could not have managed everything without the help of my friends. My entire CrossFit class all pitched in and helped over the weekend to make sure my booth had coverage, that I had macarons filled and ready to go and that I was able to get the wedding cake to the venue on time.
I think cake and confections are little bites of joy in and of themselves so getting to create for my clients is always a little celebration in a sense. I love delivering a cake and seeing the smile that it brings when they see it for the first time – it makes me happy to see that joy and excitement.
My Family and my friends. I am so incredibly blessed to have such an amazing supportive group of people in my life. It inspires me to keep pushing and pursuing my goals and my dreams for them.
