I started following Ashley Brooke a couple years ago and she’s been one of my favorite people to follow ever since! At the time she was creating products featuring her gorgeous handwriting and illustrations but nowadays she focuses solely on her lifestyle blog. I love watching her brand evolve and the content she creates is always gorgeous. Plus you can tell from her Insta stories she’s genuinely one of the sweetest people ever, making her my kinda girl! 

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS? 

I love random acts of kindness and try to keep a lookout for when I’m able make someone’s day just a bit easier. I’ve definitely done the coffee-drive-thru thing and that’s always fun.  Recently a girlfriend of mine who lives in another state was going through a really hard time with a child who was in and out of the hospital. I felt so helpless that I couldn’t physically get there to comfort her so I ordered an “at home date night” for her and her husband from their local grocery store. I used a delivery app called Shipt and put together appetizers, a roasted chicken, sides, wine, candle sticks, and even brownies! It ended up being such a fun way to show her how much I cared. 

FAVORITE PICK ME UP WHEN YOU’RE IN A RUT?

A cup of coffee on our back porch. My husband recently renovated our back yard and it’s my happy place! Enjoying a cup of coffee and some fresh air really changes everything for me.

FAVORITE GUILTY PLEASURE?

Oh easy, a bubble bath and a book. I’d do it every night if I could. 

TELL US ABOUT A KIND ACT SOMEONE DID FOR YOU RECENTLY? BIG OR SMALL!

I was having one of those “question everything about yourself days” and a girlfriend of mine over-nighted me a book with a note of encouragement inside that honestly turned my entire week around. Such a sweet and thoughtful gesture.

IN WHAT WAYS DO YOU USE YOUR BUSINESS TO SPREAD KINDNESS?

We like to say that ashleybrookedesigns.com is a happy place on the internet… a place to always find joy and encouragement, so hopefully that shows! But we love using our resources to put together fun giveaways, helpful free downloads, and give back as much as possible.

WHO INSPIRES YOU MOST AND WHY?

People who love well without asking for anything in return. I think sometimes that goes against human nature and I consider myself the luckiest girl in the world because my husband really does live that out every single day. If you there was an award for the most thoughtful kindest man, he’d win. Every time.
