Helping you celebrate every day colorfully. My mission? To make party-throwing a piece of cake!

I know half of the country is swearing off booze for the month of January but where’s the fun in that? In all seriousness I’m trying to cutting out carbs but I can’t deny myself a cocktail every now and then. I originally came up with the recipe as a holiday cocktail but things got a little crazy before Christmas. I figure since tangerine is technically considered a winter citrus, it totally still works right?! Plus the photos Ailee took in this amazing On Point Custom Homes kitchen are too gorgeous not to share.
In true C&C fashion, this cocktail is easy to throw together with a few ingredients but the color and garnish makes it seem super fancy. The sparkling water balances out the sweetness of the tangerine juice and there’s a little hint of vanilla.
TANGERINE & VANILLA BEAN SPRITZER
Serves Two
4 ounces vanilla bean infused vodka (or you can make your own using this recipe)
8 ounces fresh squeezed tangerine juice
8 ounces sparkling water
Candied orange slices for garnish (I bought a pack at Trader Joe’s in the dried fruit and nut section
Anytime I’m mixing cocktails with citrus, I always like to use fresh squeezed. It really helps maintain the true flavor! To make this cocktail, combine 4 ounces of vodka and 8 ounces of freshly squeezed juice in a shaker or pitcher and stir well. Fill your cocktail glasses with ice and pour the mixture over the top, evenly dividing it between the two glasses. Fill the rest of the way with sparkling water, which will help adjust the sweetness to your liking! Cut a slit halfway through the orange slice and stick on the rim of the glass. Cheers!
Thank you On Point Custom Homes for opening up one of your beautiful homes to us!
