Helping you celebrate every day colorfully. My mission? To make party-throwing a piece of cake!

Award show season is in full swing and I always love to curl up on my couch with a glass of bubbles and tune in to the red carpet coverage before every show! I love the fashion and celebrity interviews more than the actual show to be honest. But I’m always down for a reason to get a few friends together on a Sunday night before the craziness of the week begins.
I knew I wanted something balloon related but decided to change things up a bit. I used white link balloons and tied them together to drape in and out of the chandelier in the dining room. Then I used a low temp glue gun to add in clear balloons stuffed with gold confetti. I love the contrast it adds against our blue walls!
Bed Bath & Beyond is a great resource for entertaining staples and when I saw the confetti champagne coupes, they inspired the rest of the table. I love the coordinating ice bucket, too! I have limited storage in our kitchen so I’ll only buy glassware that’s super versatile and if I know I’ll get a ton of use out of. I love how the confetti looks like it’s at the bottom of the glass. Perfect for a fun girls night!
Bed Bath & Beyond is typically my go to for Kate Spade dining items. I’ve purchased a collection for summer entertaining but when I saw this polka dot table cloth, I knew it was perfect for an award show table. I originally thought it was black dots but once I saw it in person I liked the navy even better.
I kept the desserts semi-homemade all the way! I bought frozen mini cream puffs with chocolate icing and added edible gold star sprinkles for a little glitz. The raised dot detail on the glass dessert cups coordinated perfectly with the tablecloth and confetti glassware. I always love for there to be consistency but not too matchy-matchy. I mixed up some white chocolate cheesecake pudding and topped with fresh berries, whipped cream and a glittery star pick. I love the presentation and they’re delicious too! The star cookies were as easy as it gets. I bought fresh sugar cookies from the grocery store bakery then I cut them into star using a cookie cutter. I drizzle white chocolate because it’s way quicker and easier than actually icing and if they don’t look perfect you can cover them with sprinkles. 🙂
I’ve included the links to the pieces I used to create the dessert and bubbles set up – all available at Bed Bath & Beyond!
